Research Paper November 19, 2009

I went to the writer’s center most of this week and realize that is getting fuller everytime.   I’m having a  little problem trying to locate some more scholarly journals that will qualify as so.   Writing this research paper has made me realize how time taking and research is put into.   I need to give credit to all those writers that do write the best books ever.   Ms. Wood has been really helpful on giving us a lot of helpful resources to understand better and try to come out with the right research paper.

Getting My research paper ready November 12, 2009

I enjoyed the class last wednesday.  Talking about what we have read and trying to understand the meaning of the story is so exciting.  Most of the stories that we have read this past week on fiction have their own meaning and the authors made a great job by using methapors and working with the psychological, sociological , cultural , etc.  Im still working on my outline and thinking what should be the most interesting issue to talk about.  because you can write about so many things about one particular story but there has to be a main menaing the more persuasive and understanding one. Don’t you agree???

Research Paper November 6, 2009

I am really liking the idea of the research paper ….Even though we have to do more work is interesting knowing all the critics adeas and how they categorize each one of the stories we are reading.   Im still thinking if waht  I should write about.  I do want to choose something that will be interesting to know so that way Ill be more into it.  Ms. Wood  has given us so many ideas and resources that I think we be of great use.  Hope all of you do great on the paper ,,,and start your engines because it will be a long ride…..

Another week and starting with Fiction….. October 28, 2009

I am not to sure about this next paper assignment, but I know it is going to take a lot more than the other ones.  Fiction sounds more  to read but at the same time is more to it.  The Psychological side of the story , the sociological side and the gender.   Omg it si going to be a lot of work to be done on this one.  The story that we discussed in class this past Monday was fun and I am getting the idea of what are we going to do.  Good luck everybody…..

Hide and Seek by Lezley Hayard October 19, 2009

I actually went to go see a play today,  It was one of the best experiences I have ever had.  Seeing a play makes you want more of it and se what the final conclusion will be, I could see who the  pre=”the “>protogonist was , the antagonist, the plot of the play and the symbols.  I will recomended to anyone that like’s drama.  I personally congratulated the actors and told them are great their performance was. Director Gregory R Brown did a good job on directing this play.. Actually one of the actors is a student in San Jac, did  a great job.

A Doll’s House October 13, 2009

A Doll’s House by Ibsen,  a drama story. I think  the  characters as well as the plot and the settings were very well pictured in my heasd has I read the story.  How Nora was dvoted to her husband and  how he treated her as well.  Then the whole thing about the money being borrowee by Nora from the lawyer.  Zhow the lawyer takes advantage and start blackmailing her with telling the husband about their secret If  he was not promoted, then Katherine, Nora’s friend how she pledges to the lawyer not to tell the husband of the money…… Not to forget the doctor who is deeply in love with Nora and lets her know about his illness and that he was dying.  How the  Chritsmas tree symbolizes, Nora’s falling.  all crushed and leaving her house, realizing her husband just did not know how to treat her well.  Even though this play was written alon time ago , there is still women out there who let their husbands treat them like a personal item, not as a human being.
